Put experience on your side.
Rely on volunteers for the legwork and enthusiasm; count on us for impact and results.

We have nothing against big city companies—but that’s not what we’re about. We’ve lived in Northern California for more than three decades. We know the voters, the issues, the political picture in this region and we understand the unique challenges candidates face in their campaigns.

When Cedar Creek joins your campaign team, you can count on personalized service—not a dispassionate cookie cutter approach. We only work for candidates and causes we would vote for ourselves. If you think you might be that candidate, call us and let’s get together and talk.

The principals:

Mark and Tonya Dale are the owners of Cedar Creek Publishing. The company specializes in offering a full range of services—from concept to printing and mailing—to support the public and private sectors. Cedar Creek is proud of its hard-earned reputation as the North State’s premier provider of campaign support services, including specialization in local and regional races. The firm’s professional capabilities, reliability, confidentiality and expertise in political campaigns have translated directly into success for many North State campaigns somce 1998.

Mark brings more than 20 years of business administration and management experience to the company. His specialty is understanding the nuances of a campaign’s direct mail needs and strategizing a mail campaign which is effective at targeting just the right voters throughout the entire election season. Mark manages a staff of committed employees who work quickly and accurately to get the mail out—on time and on budget.

Tonya, formerly a journalist and editor for daily and weekly newspapers, oversees the design and production of printed campaign materials as well as candidate websites. She and her staff specialize in creating convincing outreach materials—each loaded with punch and impact. Tonya’s reporting skills and her emphasis on eliminating the “puff” helps candidates fine-tune their projects so voters understand the message quickly and effectively.

In addition to being business owners, the Dales are active members of their community. Memberships include Boy Scouts of America (including a combined 28 years of adult leadership of Cubs, Boy Scouts and Venturing); Paradise Chamber of Commerce (including four years on board); Chico Chamber of Commerce; Butte County Honorary Deputy Sheriffs (board treasurer); Paradise Scholarship Foundation (board president); Craig Memorial Congregational Church (Sunday School superintendent, trustee, stewardship board); founding board member of Butte County Big Brothers/Big Sisters; founding board member of Hospice of the Ridge; founding board member of California State Hospice Association; and Rotary Club of Paradise.

As business owners, the Dales choose their clientele carefully. When Cedar Creek partners with a client—whether a candidate, a political measure, a business or a non-profit agency—the client gets results. The Dales enjoy tackling each new project; it’s rewarding to apply years of experience, expertise and efforts to benefit the North State.
